Basically we believe that the Christian message is Good News for people whether they choose to believe it or not! We believe that as Christians we should tangibly express this good news through the message of the Gospel of Jesus as well as acts of loving service in obedience to Jesus’ command to love our neighbour as ourselves. We love the Church of Jesus and truly believe as Bill Hybels said “that the local church is the Hope of the World” We also love the City of Derby, this is our home, and we believe that as agents of Gods Kingdom we should do all we can to make this city a better place to live.

So there are three things that drive what we do:

/Unity
We are committed to empowering and fostering partnership within both the Church and City Agencies.

/A bias to the poor and marginalised
We exist to be good news to those who need it most….. So we engage to help those caught in debt, the homeless, drug addicts, alcoholics, refugees, asylum seekers, the elderly as well as those communities where they live.

/Equipping the local Church in Evangelism and providing structures for churches to work together in mission.
