A lunchtime service is held is held in St Peter’s Church in the city centre, on Fridays throughout the year, followed by refreshments.
This is for shoppers, workers etc., and at the same time on the street outside we reach out to people passing by with the Christian message.
Afterwards the Homeless Project team takes food and drink out to street people nearby and also in the Normanton area. The team often pray with those they meet and recently we have been able to support two young men who have been re-housed.
