FOOD BANK

Our Food Bank is continuing to operate by appointment. If you are in need please contact us on 01332 460 347 or [email protected]

We are accepting donations to:

  • Derby City Mission Basics Bank Warehouse 10am-12pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays - 10 Normanton Road, Derby, DE1 2GW

  • ASDA Spondon, Derby Rd, Derby DE21 7LW at any time.  Please drop your donations into the Derby City Mission trolley which is located near the pharmacy after the check outs.

Items we are currently in need of are: Tinned potatoes, tinned hot meat (e.g. curry, stew), tinned tomatoes, rice pudding, bagged rice, shower gel and washing up liquid.

Alternatively you can support us without leaving your home, by giving to our 'Shop but can't drop?' appeal - which will hep replenish our stocks and sustain our ability to support people for the duration of this pandemic. Please click the link.

SAFE SPACE

Following an initial period from the end of March to the middle of June our Safe Space service was moved to the Holiday Inn Express on Pride Park in a collaboration with Derby City Council, the OPCC and other agencies. This service has now moved into our new purpose built facility in DCM's hub building on Normanton Road.

STREET PASTORS

Following the new government restrictions on the opening of bars, pubs and restaurants we are currently unable to operate in the city centre.

JOB CLUB

Our usual Job Club is temporarily closed but we are still available to offer support. Please email us and we will do our best to support you at this time.

SCHOOLS

Tim Pawson has continued to work with other organisations across the city to produce on-line content for parents who are home schooling.  With schools now re-open Tim is actively assessing with them any restrictions on volunteers supporting them.
