Thank you for your prayers!

In the last edition of News & Prayer we asked you to pray for more opportunities to deliver an exciting interactive Bible teaching programme called Walk through the Bible (WTB) in primary schools.

This is what a teacher from St Werburgh’s School, Spondon, said of the course Tim taught:

The children really enjoyed it and were enthusiastic. Props were good, the session was interactive and the children enjoyed doing the movements. Tim knew his stuff, was punctual and well organised.

In early June, Derby Diocese gathered RE Co-ordinators from Church of England primary schools across north and south Derbyshire to two training days on aspects of teaching the RE curriculum.

Tim Pawson was invited to give an introduction to WTB – Old Testament and demonstrate its power to make the Bible stories fun and memorable for the children.

The training was well received and there has been interest in WTB being used in more schools. This is an amazing opportunity to get into schools and give a grounding in Christian truth and values.

Are you passionate about sharing the Good News with the younger generation? Would you be interested in training to present Walk Through the Bible?
