As we come to the end of the autumn school term our work in schools continues.  Walk Through the Bible (bible.org.uk) presents the big picture of the Bible to year 5 and 6 children. Tim Pawson, our Schools Worker, leads participatory RE classes to teach the Bible stories chronologically, using key words and actions as a memory tool.

Discovery Squad assemblies on Wednesdays always prove very entertaining and are a great opportunity to share the Gospel with many children, in some regular schools, and some new ones.

In the last week we have been delivering Experience Christmas (9th to 16th Dec), hosting children from eight local schools to share with them the story and true meaning of Christmas. This year has seen a new team of volunteers come together to run this project.

Our Christmas Connection project is also in full swing. In partnership with churches and Argos/Sainsbury's, we are collecting gifts for children who may not otherwise get Christmas presents this year. These are assembled into parcels by a team of volunteers and then distributed via our Jubilee clinics and other partner agencies.

Christmas is such a great opportunity to spread the Good News of the greatest gift, Jesus. Please join us in praying for the children who hear this message and their families.
