As our Derby Nightshelter Project enters its 7^th Year, the need for this service remains as high as ever. Our guests are provided with a safe and secure place to get a meal and shelter for the night for a full 4 months. Whilst we rely on volunteers to serve meals and provide company for the guests, behind the scenes there are costs associated with food, bedding, overnight staff and administration which costs Derby City Mission £137,000. We are currently running a crowdfunding appeal to help contribute to some of this cost. Did you know £25 covers accommodation and 2 meals for one guest for one night; £53 covers the cost of one set of bedding; £853 covers the cost of one night for 35 guests?
