It was great to see Tony Steynor in the office this morning, 4 days after completing the London Marathon.  With a beaming smile and even sorer feet, Tony recalled some of the highlights.

"It was hot, humbling and God gave me a big push at 20 miles.  I had a sudden surge of energy and nearly 'ran' over to my family who were cheering me on at the sidelines!"

Tony did over 700 miles walking in training for the marathon and walked it in:

6 hours 9 minutes and 48 seconds

This was just 57 seconds slower than the ambituous target he set for himself (3 x the current world record time)

Smashing his fundraising target by 150%, Tony has raised a staggering

...and the amount continues to climb as more donations come in and gift aid is applied.

During the day, Tony got the opporunity to pray for others in the marathon with great results, a man he met at the station before the race achieved his personal best.  Tony's parting words...

"God is good!"

Tony, we think you are pretty amazing too - thank you.
