The demand on the Community Shop - our foodbank - is high.

We are so thankful for all the donations we receive, which help us restock the Community Shop, meet our operating costs, and be there for local people in crisis.

Your donation, however, small can make such a difference to our clients.

Here's what Jane said about how a simple food parcel impacted her:

The company I worked for has gone out of business so I’ve lost my job and can't get another one at the moment. I was so scared I wouldn't have anything to feed my kids. I was living off the bits that they didn't eat just to make sure they weren't going hungry - it was awful! The food parcel is an absolute lifeline - thank you so much! 

If the funds raised through this appeal exceed what is needed to meet this need, excess funds will be used where there is greatest need within Derby City Mission.
