Thanks to your amazing donations (over 4000 toys/gifts were collected), we were able to bring the joy of Christmas to 801 children!

Since 1996 Derby City Mission has provided Christmas presents for thousands of children who might not otherwise receive any. In 2023, we blessed over 800 children and relieved the pressure on parents who were struggling financially and in other ways, enabling them to make Christmas a special time for their children.

We are reliant on donations of new toys from churches, businesses, schools and a multitude of individuals to make this happen every year. Each Christmas parcel typically contains two large/main gifts, a book, stocking fillers, a booklet explaining the Good News of the Christmas message, a selection box and, for the younger children, a cuddly toy.

It may be that you're unable to get to the shops this year, or perhaps you're unsure of what to buy. So, if you would like to make a financial donation to enable us to buy toys in the age groups where there is most need, please click the Donate button.
