Now that you have your great idea for fundraising, (thank you, that's great!) now let us help you with the next steps!

1. Choose an Appeal

  • An appeal is a campaign raising money for us in general or against a certain project i.e. Nightshelter, Jubilee Debt Clinics
  • We already have some appeals that you can fundraise against, choose one from Our Appeals
  • If you can't find an appeal you want to fundraise for, contact us here and we will set up a new appeal for you!

2. Create your fundraising page

  • Use this link to create your own fundraising page, it will take minutes!
  • Your fundraising page stays on our website and you can direct your supporters to your fundraising page
  • All donations you receive from your fundraising page will come directly to us

If you are fundraising off line, please download a 'Sponsorship Form' or use our 'Submit your Donations Form'.

3. Handy Tips

  • Now you've planned your fundraising, use our downloadable resources so you can spread the word, including some great social graphics!
  • To maximise your fundraising efforts, its is key to communicate and regularly update your supporters on what you are doing
  • We have created some handy tips for you here

Confidence in the donation process

Donations are securely made through our website via your fundraising page directly to Derby City Mission

We have 2 types of payment:

  • One off donations (using a company called Stripe)
  • Regular giving (using a company called GoCardless)

Both are secure, accredited, trusted and used by many charities
