As the leaves change and autumn sets in, we're once again reminded of the importance of giving. This harvest season, let's come together to make a difference in our community.

Every year, we are profoundly grateful for the incredible support we receive from people like you. Your generosity ensures that our food bank can continue to make a significant difference in the lives of those in need, especially as we approach the winter months.

FOOD DONATIONS

Our warehouse is ready to accept donations at the DCM Hub, 10 Normanton Rd, Derby, DE1 2GW, from 10 am to midday on Monday, Wednesday, or Thursdays. You can also drop off your donations in our dedicated trolley at Asda Spondon.

We know a number of churches and organisations around the city and beyond are planning harvest services and group collections, with food donations being gathered before being transported to our hub and ultimately onto the shelves of our community shop and into the hands of those in need this Winter. We encourage you to take part in these services and collections however you can. 

Want your church/ school/ community group to plan a collection? There's still time to give them the nudge and make arrangements. If you are planning a group collection, please get in touch with Terry, our Cafe and Shop coordinator ([email protected]), so we can prepare space and assist with collection arrangements. 

Alternatively, if you're unable to make physical donations, your church/ organisation or you individually can still make a significant impact through financial donations. Simply write a check payable to Derby City Mission (with 'Foodbank' written on the back) or make a secure online donation through our website.

With these financial donations, we can ensure that nobody in our city goes hungry this winter.
