Each year, we are so incredibly blessed by the number of donations we receive from people. These donations ensure that our food bank is able to feed a huge number of people in real need throughout the winter. Due to the effects of COVID-19 on our city, we have seen a rise in the number of people in poverty and needing to access the food bank. Sadly, we anticipate that will continue to rise.

We realise that some churches and organisations might not be able to meet in the usual way at the moment. Schools and churches may not be able to have their usual Harvest services but you may wish to make a donation still.

Our warehouse is ready to accept donations at the DCM Hub, 10 Normanton Rd, Derby, DE1 2GW from 10 am to midday on Monday, Wednesday or Thursdays, or in our trolley at Asda Spondon.

Alternatively, if your church/organisation is not meeting, you can also make a financial donation towards the food bank via cheque to Derby City Mission (with foodbank written on the rear) or through our website.

With these financial donations, we will be able to continue to reach out so that no-one goes hungry in our city this winter.

Visit our Food Bank Page for more information and a list of the items you can donate.
