In Summer please pray for:

Current Ministries

• Thank God for all those who faithfully continue to donate food and for selfless volunteers who transport and sort food at the warehouse

• Preparations for the winter Nightshelter including confirming venues, volunteer and night staff recruitment and training

• God to continue to bless and prosper our relationships with local authorities and the churches in Derbyshire in helping the homeless in the county 

• Give thanks for all our dedicated volunteers at Jubilee clinics; for their stamina and a keen eye for detail during a busy summer

• Give thanks for those who are now debt-free following Jubilee intervention and pray for them to make good financial decisions going forward

• Give thanks for our 9 newly trained Street Pastor recruits, that they will be blessed and be a blessing as they start their shifts

• Continue to pray for young children, youth and young professionals in our city and that God leads us to areas where we can be of great help

 

New Ministries

• Thank God for the impact that Safe Space has had in a short time on guests and pray for opportunities to talk about Jesus
• Health and well-being of all Safe Space staff and their families as they are spiritually on the frontline
• A smooth transitioning of new projects Storehouse and St Peter’s lunchtime service and their existing volunteers into the DCM vision.
• Wisdom in executing our fundraising strategy and developing sustainable income through social enterprises to help us with new ministries
