Communications Coordinator

Craig joined Derby City Mission in 2021 as the Communications Coordinator. Prior to starting this role, Craig spent a number of years working in various marketing and communication positions, including at a local church and one of the UK’s first social media marketing agencies.

After moving to the city of Derby for University, he very quickly fell in love with the area, its people and its culture. He has a passion for giving people a voice, seeing lives transformed and getting creative initiatives that benefit the local community off the ground.

Craig first got involved at Derby City Mission when founding YADA, a non-alcoholic bar concept that aims to re-invent the nighttime ‘Drinking’ culture. YADA, now YADA Collective, is now an independently run CIC that Craig co-directs. Craig also runs his own digital marketing business, Sticky Bee Marketing.

Craig attends New Horizons Church, in Langley Mill and lives in the area with his wife Ciara, and young daughter. When not working, he has a passion for rustic woodwork and also loves to be out and about exploring the countryside, hiking, Geocaching, mountain biking,  and general outdoor activities.
