Debt and Benefits Advisor

I am Lindsey and I joined Derby City Mission in May 2022 as a debt and benefit adviser within the Jubilee project. My role is to work alongside individuals in our clinics supporting with any debt and benefit issues, providing confidential, non-judgemental advice and showing the love of God through action.

In 2010, I started volunteering at a Christian organisation that gave debt advice in my local community. I felt a calling on my life to become more involved and, after initial training, have since worked as a debt and benefit adviser within Christian organisations.  I feel blessed to be part of the amazing team at Derby City Mission.

I am married to Aaron and have 3 grown-up children, small nieces and nephews and an ever-growing extended family, whom I love spending time with.  I love creating fluid art, reading and going to the cinema.

I have been blessed with an amazing Church family through Ikon Church and attend the Chesterfield campus where I serve on various teams to bless others.
